La Leche League of Fort Wayne : La Leche League offers free breastfeeding information and support to
women who are pregnant or nursing. Accredited Group Leaders are also
experienced nursing mothers, and they offer phone help, morning and
evening meetings, and a lending library. Meetings are available in
Fort Wayne, Auburn, and Grabill.

Both locations are limited medical facilities and offer free pregnancy
testing as well as free, limited, first-trimester ultrasounds. A
Hope Center Pregnancy and Relationship resources offers abortion
education and pregnancy-options peer counseling, as well as post-abortion
healing opportunities. The Hope Center gives referrals for ongoing
medical care, housing, physical needs, and adoption services. Regular
clients enjoy ongoing peer counseling using a comprehensive pregnancy-related
educational curriculum. Participation in the program provides clients
the opportunity to earn baby furniture and other needed items.
The medical director is a volunteer OBGYN physician and there is
a paid nurse manager on staff.

dedicated to supporting caregivers of Alzheimer and dementia patients.
They maintain an office in the United Way Building (Room 301) where
caregivers are welcome to come browse the library to check out Alzheimer
and caregiver-related books. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 to
12:30.
