NAMI
Fort Wayne is the local affiliate of the National Alliance for
the Mentally ill, a non-profit organization. Meetings are every
Tuesday from 7 - 9 p.m. at The Carriage House, 3327 Lake Ave. NAMI
is dedicated to improving the lives of people with serious mental
illnesses and their families through support, advocacy, education
and research. Biological brain disorders, such as schizophrenia,
bipolar disorder, and depression, affect more than one in five American
